This is a big week! Kick Drum Comix #1 hits stands on Wed. It's my first all-new original comic book work in over two years...and it's all in blazing full color!!! 48 pgs of goodies, and the colors by Justin Stewart (Death of the Popmaster) and Anne Masse (Coltrane's Reed) are fuckin' beautiful! Even www.juxtapoz.com hyped it up today and there's an extended preview of the book at www.myspace.com/comicbooks.
If you're in LA we're having a release party at Munky King on Melrose, Thurs. Sept 18th from 7-11pm. DJs, free beer, and original art for sale from the book!

It's a good initiative. I think Kick Drum Comix has been doing an important work. I've got a comic book and it would be nice if you can add something else about it, I still learning and I need more practice.
